I didn't say don't click on it, I just meant be careful (make sure you have anti-virus and scripts turned off etc.)

The reason being it is a bastardised url, it doesn't say  'youtube', it's 'youtu.be' which means a different ip address, which means a different server controlled by who knows?

I'm pretty sure you'll find that youtu.be and goo.gl are registered to both YouTube and Google respectively - this is due to the change to miniaturised URLs :)
