All popping is, is unburnt fuel exploding in the exhaust pipe. I don't see how that can hurt it?

I've had a Vox for about 10 months now and it's been good. Removable lining easy to remove visor which comes with the pinlock pins and plenty of vents. Also comes with a chin curtain and drop down shades, handy.

Bad points are water getting to the inside of the visor and can maybe be a bit noisy but I've never needed ear plugs.

What's the purpose of this camera? Just in case of an accident?

I've just got one in the post but it doesn't look very long to me...

It's 115cm is that right? It does LOOK right, the bike is in the warehouse at the moment otherwise I'd just offer it up. D:

My bike is naked so your clocks would be a bit wrong on here :(

Speedo solution is to replace the dials for a digital one
This will also be a smaller unit to fit behind the headlamp mask

Prob go for this one
http://bit.ly/1hZLfpb

If the callipers won't fit I think I'll refurb the yzf ones before the refit starts

Hmmm.... How easy would something like that be to fit? Both my speedo and tacho are up the swanny so something like this might be the answer for me too. Only problem is I have clip ons so mounting it might be tricky.

That pic with the USD forks looks the business :D

Yeah it is a twin with a whopping 14.2bhp if I recall  :rollin . The bike weighs about 164KG too so it wasn't a rocket ship but I did see 80 once or twice.

I never had a problem with the reliability what so ever but I only had it for 3-4 months while I was learning then passed and then sold it for a fazer.

It's loosely based on the GS500 frame wise, that fuel tank was whopping too, the bike felt very big for a learner bike but it wasn't a very good ride. Suspension was too firm.

Dunno if you would call it a reliability issue but the fork stanchions seemed to like pitting.

I can only assume the thread is a universal size with a quick search I couldn't find an answer and I have to go to work in a minute :(

I don't own a sucker mount or I could check but there are quite a few on ebay of different types. Just be sure the suction is good enough to stay stuck, well worth tethering it as well :)

So you think the mount itself is flexing and causing vibrations? I know the proper Drift/Go Pro mounts are metal but are probably about 30 quid or so.

Hmmm..... Is the mount the same as the drift etc? Where it screws in the bottom?  :biker

You could get one of those if so, they are metal

I'd have though a couple of layers of bicycle inner tube would sort you out?

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Fitted new bars, opinions please!
« on: 13 January 2014, 10:19:03 pm »
Hi mate, the yoke is standard and the bars are these...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CNC-41mm-High-Lift-Handle-bar-Clip-on-ons-for-Suzuki-GSF-400-600-Bondit-SV-650-/390626787694

I got those because they are not expensive and have a slight rise, so the position wouldn't be too extreme and the bars would be level with the yoke.

They are cheap but they are billet and seem fairly strong. Although if you buy these bars you WILL want longer bolts to tighten the stanchion clamp as they are way too short from them. I went to Allfix and got a set of 4 stainless bolts for £1.40

The lock clearance is fine as you can see in the latest picture, that is fully turned and also the steering lock is on. :)

I do not know if my standard yoke is the same as faired standard yoke. There are bolts at the front of the yoke to attach the instrument cluster. Lemme know if you would like any pictures of anything.  :thumbup
