simple task for fzs owner
« on: 19 February 2016, 06:37:58 pm »
Ok, here is the problem. Spyball alarm went at the bin. (cause the remote is dead, pin is lost, etc etc)

I need to see from the inside of this cap (something like the picture)

The local dealer said this part is not available as spare (!!!)
anyway,
this is a 6 pin connector, with a top cap that bridges to 2 pins (i think). Problem is that i don't know which of them to bridge.

This fuse is located by the left side of the bike, somewhere along with the indicators fuze, under the saddle.

Please any kind of help would appreciated.

Which spyball model did you have?

Are there two set of connectors one with 6 pins and one with 8 pins?

Do you have a picture of the connectors you removed from the alarm?

Which spyball model did you have? type 6527 -that's the label

Are there two set of connectors one with 6 pins and one with 8 pins? no

(1) this the connectors from the alarm

(2) the connectors on bike
for the 6 pin one, i need to see the inside of the cap (that should be something like the black cap - first from the left- for the third connector)

Cut the 2 plugs off the alarm cable leads about 3 inches back from the plugs, this will give you room to join the necessary wires.

Send me a pm with your email address and I will send you a picture of the bypass plugs
