Hi, my Fazer was left for 8 weeks. I took out the battery before. Charged it before putting it back but when I tried to start it it only makes clicking noise. I pushed it and it starts this way but now way it is starting with a button. Could anyone help with this?

I paid 2000 for '03 fox eye with 19000 on the clock. Service history wasn't brilliant but it was from one owner and from last year did not do a single mile. I asked someone experienced to have a look on it and the answer was: If you like the bike just take it. Sounds great, looks great, chain, pads, discs nearly new, very good tyres and only one small chip between the lights :-( but very very tiny. Otherwise great. I was happy to pay 2000 for it. There were plenty slightly cheaper with double miles and year or two older but this one was the one I liked. And now I love it ;-)

Hi Exupnut, I bought it today and it will arrive tomorrow Looks decent. Obviously you're paying a spot more as it's a dealer. I recently picked up a same year fzs600 with only 13K on it, with blue screen, hugger, belly pan, spotless, with original pipes etc. £1800. Didn't have top box, but chap threw in panniers, tank bag and spare can.
Arfa, I was looking for one of them and couln'd find any of that year for less. I got it for £2000. I think I saw a couple of them but up the north. And down the south they were more expensive then my final price

Hi Streetbudgie,
I probably didn't precise my question. I didn't mean buying without trying but I meant quality and durability. And thats a lot for what you have just said. Could you advice what makes and models would you recomend? Bearing in mind I will definitely go and try myslelf before buying, but I would like someone's experienced opinion what could/should be worn as a protection af my brain :-)
Thanks T.

Hi All,
could the below be trusted? I've done check on VOSA and the below came back.
Thanks to all for the handy advices and i will try to make a good use of them. Would you mind if I ask few (or quite few) questions about Fazer in the future? Best Trotsky

Hi mtread, Thanks. So if the rear shock is original it will need replacing sooner rather then later?! Am I correct? If so how expensive it is?
Thanks for all the help. Best T.
