But I'd say the City does attract more than it's fair share of merchants - only understandable given the size and population, and the massive concentration of service industry there. All would-be Gordon Geckos. I don't know about Scottish independence, I sometimes think the rest of the country would be better off if London was an independent state as certain groups there seem to be robbing everyone else blind.

I was wondering did I hear a story that London was collecting funds to add a palisade to M25?
