Had a great ride up the A44 to Pembridge (just west of Leominster) to get a few snaps for sketching inspiration. Roads were largely quiet on the way up, the tyres were gripping well despite the cold temperatures, and I was wrapped up snug as a bug. I didn't actually realise how cold it was until I stopped for petrol and took my helmet off, so this kit I bought for backpacking has proved to be more effective than anything else I've ever used on a bike. Add to that Spada Enforcer gloves and Oxford heated grips, plus thick merino wool socks under the boots, and that seems to be me sorted for the winter
Sorry I didn't call you Slimwilly, but I didn't get going til 11:30, got to Pembridge at about 2:30 and didn't stop too long. Left there about 3:00pm, paused in Worcester for a couple of snaps, and headed home again.
Happy
