Hi all , a bit of advice is required,  i stripped down the exup valve this afternoon  to give it it's  annual good hiding with the copper grease, one issue i have is with the bush in the valve housing its solid even warm and a gentle tap will not shift it ,i don't want to hit it to hard and damage the housing as the valve is free  when assembled ,can leave it or should the bush be free to spin also, ta

If its the phosphor-bronze bush thats in the outer cover, just leave it where it is. The main thing you need to check is concentricity/run-out of the exup valve, as long as the valve itself can freely rotate by hand with said cover on and the 3x allen bolts installed your good to go.

You can get it cheaper than that, and one tub will last for years.
