FZ1 Immobiliser bypass ??
« on: 16 November 2019, 08:02:09 pm »

Hi, has anyone on here had any experience of using these immobiliser bypass plug in units ?
I bought my Fz1, 2007 model, and it arrived with only one black key, no red master key, hence if these things work, I will do away with the factory fitted immobiliser and just rely on the trusty chain and huge padlock as I always have done with every other bike I have had.
Any info welcome....
Cheers

Not sure if this interests you, but i have a full chinese FZ1 lockset and an immobiliser delete mod. I bought them to fit [but never did] to my FZ1S,as the ignition was getting temperamental. When I sold it the dealer who bought it off of me said he could fix the lock, so i kept it.

the delete details are here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Immobiliser-Emulator-for-Yamaha-Motorcycles-Immobilizer-Bypass-Emmulator-Circuit-/261585749443

You can have the lot for £20 in p+p if you want (clears it for me too)
