Awesome bit of kit.

For Sale & Wanted / Gen 2 FZ1/S Wilbers shock lowering ~45mm ish
« on: 05 May 2020, 08:24:35 PM »
Having a lockdown tidy up. Found this shock i had on my 2011 Fazer.

Bit of crust on the cylinder tube, but nothing nasty and no rot on the chrome damper rod.

A 640 model which is 20mm shorter (300mm) to give 45mm of lowering. Was fully functional when last used, if i thought it wasnt any good i would have chucked it rather than bagging it and putting on the shelf.

Might fit the FZ8, buyer beware.

£60 inc p+p?

For Sale & Wanted / Power Commander V [5] for FZ1/FZ1S Fazer
« on: 09 March 2018, 07:47:01 PM »

My Fazer got sold the other day  :eek , still have an FZR1000EXUP [plus non-yamaha stuff] so all good though  :D .

Anyway got a working PCV for an FZ1, think itll fit an FZ8 too, but youll need to check.

It's only glitch is that one of the port bungs [i think to connect accessories like a map switch] is missing, so it's got some tape on it. Shedloads of maps out there for it or get it on the dyno for a full fat tune up.

£100ono posted. Itll go on the bay if no takers on here[/i]

FZS600 Fazer / MCN reference

MCN has a review of the boxeye in this weeks copy, as a secondhand bike, and mentions FOC-U as a source of info [as well as the yamaha owners forum {of which i am also a member}]

worth a read, but nothing we didnt already know.

General / Trollstigen and Transfagarasan
« on: 22 August 2014, 04:08:04 PM »
Well i've just done 6000 miles around Europe and i'm now back home.

Went up to Norway, rode Trollstigen and over Valdresflye (what an amazing road over a 5500ft plateau of boulder fields).

Back down, and a ferry across the Baltic.

Through the rising landscapes of Eastern Germany, over the Ore.  Through Bohemia and Moravia, into Slovakia and Hungary and then onto Romania, to do the Transfagrasan Highway (and the somewhat dismantled Transalpin Highway).

Back via the Great Hungarian Plain, Burgenland, Northern Limestone Alps and the Ardennes.

more pics to follow...

Hi Foccers,

Just joined this forum despite having an FZ1S for 8 months....

I'm on a few forums, so you may recognise my user name.

I usually go to the Alps in the summer, and other places at Easter, here are some pics of my FZ1 in the Bavarian Pre-Alps/Voralberg, Austria last summer.

Am organising a group ride this year (6 others already signed up) to Bolzano, via Black Forest in August.  If you are interested let me know.
