akrapovic baffle
« on: 21 March 2014, 08:54:13 pm »

can anyone find or make for me an akrapovic baffle that is full bore at the output end?

i put mine in for the mot ride and really liked the stealthy lack of noise, i could hear my bike and my own thoughts! but i can't stand the pea shooter look of the exhaust with the baffle in place....
is it clean enough?

When you sit on the bike you can't see the end of the exhaust, so why worry, a bit like sitting in the driver seat of a Fiat Multipla. :lol :lol :lol .
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.

hmmm, by that logic when i'm sat on the bike i can't see the engine oil either so are you suggesting that i should never change it?
is it clean enough?

They come in multi sizes and shapes.

I had to buy directly from Akrapovic as I couldn't find an after market 'tear drop' shaped DB killer.
Wasn't cheap either, about €60 if memory serves me right but I couldn't stand the drone at motorway speeds.
