Exhaust retaining springs
« on: 14 October 2020, 10:23:53 pm »
Does anyone know what length the retaining springs are that secure the downpipes are. I appear to have lost one and the other three all appear to be stretched. I'd like to replace them with new ones but want to get the right ones.
Never underestimate the ingenuity of an idiot!

Are your referring to header to collar, header to link pipe or end can to link pipe springs that come with aftermarket performance exhaust?  As standard there are no springs on a standard or OE replacement types.

The length would possible be dependant on what make your system is?  Most will be much the same and I'd be fairly confidant any will fit.

Try these or any of the links at the bottom https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/283422957074?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=283422957074&targetid=938486033020&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045603&poi=&campaignid=10195651586&mkgroupid=107296210212&rlsatarget=pla-938486033020&abcId=1145987&merchantid=113742434&gclid=CjwKCAjw5p_8BRBUEiwAPpJO67R8iNlY8xHWk_n_bNWn_U0D7Kd5R9CtDUUehta7-5h6vWEt1TGIGxoC4EcQAvD_BwE

When my son was missing some from his existing exhaust I called Black Widow (the supplier) and they sent some out FOC
