With Germany , like a lot of countries, clamping down on noisy motorcycles and even talking about banning motorcycles from certain roads at weekends, do you think the days of race exhausts and modified bikes are numbered in the UK? I know I myself now find some exhausts way too loud, but in my younger days it was the louder the better, I had a CB750 when I was 22, very similar to the one pictured in Ogri48 's latest thread, and after the original 4 into 4 exhaust rotted away I fitted a 4 into 1 exhaust, it was LOUD, my old man said it sounded like Lancaster bomber, but I thought it was the dogs bollocks.

As per title, no cracks, seems to be made out of fibreglass, no fittings, lights or instructions. Been sat in my garage for over 10 years.
P & P £5.00, undertray is free, or collect from Leeds for free.

Would you buy a Yamaha Niken?
For me it is a big no, £13500 for a 263 kilo MT09 with an extra wheel, I don't care how much confidence you get in pushing the front end, its not a motorcycle, its a tricycle.

As the title says what is the best way to lube the chain when you only have a sidestand? I have no paddock stands and do not want to fit a Scottoiler or similiar.

Lorenzo is about to sign a two year deal with Honda to be "team mates " with Marquez, I did not expect that. Apparently Zarco turned Honda down to go to KTM, hope that works out well for him.

Okay so bought a MT09 and very happy with it but I have made a bit of a cock up. I have managed to jam the seat, I have removed it once before when I checked the bike over and I think I did not locate it correctly when putting it back on. . I turn the key and lift and pull backwards like you are meant to but it only moves about 5mm then it is solid. I have tried thumping it and wiggling a piece of metal rod about underneath the gap in vain hope but the bugger is stuck. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. I have tried to post this on the MT09 forum but even though I am a member when I try to post on the forum it just keeps telling me I have not done the image capture correctly, after 5 goes I gave up

I am thinking about keeping my bike kit in the garage. It is one of those precast concrete ones and what concerns me is condensation and damp. Does anyone else keep their kit in a garage and if so what do you store it in? Bear in mind I am a Scot living in Yorkshire, being careful with my money is not a trait it is a vocation.

I am looking to get 4 new tyres for the Peugeot boxer that my son and I share, Black Circles seems to be cheapest and plenty of choice. Has anyone used them in the past, does their system work? Unsure about using them as they seem to use local tyre fitters that sell the same tyres but at a higher price than Black Circles!

Every time I go to somewhere that bikers tend to gather at, be it a show or cafe, they all seem to be as old or older than me. Other week at Fridaythorpe with a mate he commented on it then, and today I had an early morning run to the coast and called in again at Fridaythorpe on the way back at about 10.30am. There were about 10 bikes there and all the riders were of a mature age, I know there are younger riders out there but they seem to be few and far between, extinction seems to be looming.

I always use a back protector and have had a few different Knox over the years but they have always been the type that you wear separately, with shoulder straps and and a strap round the waist. I am looking to get one that will fit in the back of my Alpinestars leather jacket in the existing pocket, any recomendations welcome
