How do people find these things out???It must be by accident? I bet there was a very relieved person sitting there looking at the result with no eyebrows and half a head of hair, smoking a Hamlet, and a big cheesy grin on his face.

I can remember seeing it from an early ae as a kid watching my godfather race, it was pretty much the normal method of beading tyres in the pits. First time i did it i nearly shat mysef, but it works
Hi, on the way back from work the other night on my 1999 Fazer I picked up a puncture with a screw in the back tyre. Ordered a new tyre from mytyres and fitted it yesterday, only took 15/20 minutes but I'm buggered if I can get the tyre to initially inflate on the rim. I've triple checked the size, made sure the valve core is out, chucked on the lots of lube and tried a ratchet strap down the centre of the tyre but it's been incredibly stubborn. I took it to a local garage to try to see if they could get it on but they had an issue as well but recommended finding somewhere that had a bead blaster thing. I do remember the last time I put a new rear on it was a bit tricky to get a seal, but lots of lube and playing about with the tyre got it on. I'm going to try and find an open tyre place today but I don't suppose anyone has any other tricks that might help? Stuart
I must admit that when I typed it I was thinking that I am really gonna get slated by the H&S brigade on here for this.... Must say that I am surprised and I must try harder.

StuartHad the same thing with last set, garage ended up putting an inner tube in rear to push out bead. Going back to have it taken back out when start riding again
