What's she worth?
« on: 15 February 2017, 08:31:01 am »
Thinking of changing my bike but uncertain what's she's worth.
She's an 07 with. 9200 miles, Fuel end can, heated grips and HID lights fitted.
Good condition and I'm the second owner.
( Will get pic up of bike with new can fitted )

Any help appreciated

Hi Jer, moving on to new pastures ?

If you can, take upgrades off and sell separate,,

my guess is around £2,800    or £2,500 to £3,000

Same year and colour scheme as mine, about 14000 miles. I am looking to sell in a few months and was going to ask for £2900 with the Akrapovic, Juicebox Pro with custom fuel map, Givi rack and a few odds and ends still on it, back to standard I would be asking for £2600.
I fancy something a bit smaller and lighter, getting old!, MT09 or MT07 Tracer are the top two on my list àt the moment.

Hi Both,
Been offered £3k from dealer against another bike ( Kawasaki Z1000sx Bill ) so assumed worth a bit more privately, that's what happens normally with cars etc.
Just fancied something a little bit more modern, although it's still a good bike. Might have to run another year if can't afford to change.

To be fair if you search autotrader for a bike with same specs as yours there isn't one under 3800 so might be worth a bit more than you think?
