Agree about staying with the site fella - a bike issue is a bike issue which can be shared and sorted. As said, other riders have many others....I've got 4 bikes. Believe it or nor we even have hairdressers on this site with faggot cars and pristine bikes which are getting sprayed bright pink if they post any more bastard pics of their dirt free bike
when I took it for test ride doing 16 miles, that was enough to convince me that this a fazer replacement!when I sold the fazer I wanted something a little lower and lighter so I traded it in for a ER6F .I just couldn't get along with it did 4,000 in 4 years and it almost killed biking for me.if it wasn't for our lass convincing me to try another ,I wouldn't be riding today.I dont know what it was with the ER tried two seat mods, higher bars..hip use to ache every time I did a long trip..I've had a couple of maxi's so I considered getting one...I said to our lass if they(japs) bring out an auto bike I'll buy it.ended up with an NC700X dct loved it but not the looks.lolI thought when I'm sat on I'm not looking at it .. after a while it didn't look to bad.I was planning on selling it and getting a 'S' 750 model then yamaha brought out the tracer 700.ooh I like that and a test ride prove it was the one for me.got a good part ex.with it being an ex demo I saved about £720...it only had 350 mile of which I did 16 miles.its off the road at the mo but getting all the accessories on.I'm like a big kid in a candy shop(just turned 65)
the reason why I went for the 700 and not the 900 is that I wasn't all that keen on the looks .also not looking for power I've done all the fast riding etc.not interested speed or accelerating fast. my last bike was an NC 54 bhp torque 50 and I found that plenty fast for us(wife comes with me)the tracer has 50 torque at around a thousand revs more and 74 bhp.having an extra 20 or so hp I'm not sure what the gain is there.yes its a cracking bike as soon as I did the test ride I was sold.
A little high for my stumpy legs and the suspension was way too soft for me.

Very light compared to the Fazer and a joy to ride.
