If I had 3 grand to blow  I would be spending it on suspension and brake upgrades, or a second bike.

What I wanna know is who the hell needs a supercharger on a bike? Especially one already putting out 140+bhp!!
I would imagine it would be pretty much un rideable as a road bike

A guy on the 998 forum (who southampton based) went with this; im fairly sure he did a lot of back and forth to ttx before he got anywhere near it running right.

i guess it'll max out the credit card on back tyres time, if fitted.

Found this vid of a FZ1 turbo thats basically a wheelie machine , I think supercharger boost is more throughout the rev range as opposed to a turbo kick which would make the supercharger more useable

not according to everything I've read on turbo'd bikes.  The whole lag thing is a car phenomenon - a turbo tends to start spooling up at 2.5-3k (depending on size and throttle) - you don't generally run a bike that low down.  The way a turbo comes in is more about turbo choice than turbocharging itself.  The Big CC guys wrote a good article on it in Streetfigthers a few years ago explaing how a 300bhp bike can be easier to ride than 250 as the increase in power is more progressive than something spooling up really quickly and kicking you up the arse.

Avoiding lag I think is about the turbo size, and getting the turbo as close to the exhaust ports as possible. The Kawasaki 750 turbo started to deliver noticeably at around 4k rpm, and got progressively stronger from there.

i followed this for some time and there were issues first of was fitted with an intercooler which failed then re worked by tts then there were further issues which were sorta sorted at another tuning house

add this much hp creates lots of issues prime example being the clutch and trying to keep front down

there is an old addage "power is nothing with out control"

look up mr hulmut on youtube with his turbo gen1 tottally mad and not for normal use

hence i never entertained it in any my builds

Look up Big CC racing, if you can't grasp the concept of progressive increase in power over a rev range as opposed to a huge kick up the backside then I'll happily photograph the whole article and post it on here.
