coulport scotland

Any of you good foccers near to coulport?  I have the opportunity of temporary  posting up there and was wondering whether it would be worth coming up on the bike. Are there good rides to take advantage of on my rest days?

Aye, bring yer bike up.   Some great roads plus loads of nooks and crannies to explore.

Just watch oot fae the cops.  I got nicked by the Dunoon unmarked car last year.  And these days it's all about KPI's.

Deep Fried Mars Bar, if you ask for a battered mars bar in Scotland you will get just that-- battered as in hammered. :pc

Take a spin up tae Mr Pia's in Inveraray for one of the best fish suppers in the land.    But I dinnae think he'll fry a mars bar fae ye.

Mhor Fish in Callander is excellent too.  And they will fry you a mars bar in their beef dripping.

The Real Food Cafe is quite good fae fish suppers too and a handy stop.

Are you guys trying to scare midden from not coming to Scotland with your offers of deep fried mars bars etc surely we can sell Scotland better than this?

There's absolutely lovely rides up here, and as said earlier, plenty of foccers you could ask to take you out and show you them.
In my opinion the west coast is the best but that's because there easy to get to from Glasgow for me.
As it's only a temp move I think you'd be mad to not bring your bike up as you'd probably regret it if you don't.
Only thing I'd say you'd also need to bring is waterproofs and your passport :) sorry, couldn't resist :lol

Neil, screw the deep fried mars bar, you need a deep fried double cheese burger, salt and sauce!

It was my staple food from a chippy when I worked in Edinburgh.

Just think.... burger....cheese....... burger.... wrapped in batter.....and fried.... in a bun......mmmmmmmmmmmm

That looks the perfect spot to park up VNA, open the lid and breathe in the fresh air while crunching on a crispy salad  :)
