Hello there and welcome  :)

Deefer666 is your answer for spare parts: http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,19135.msg221631.html#msg221631

For the headlights you can do this mod: http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,181.0.html

Or just get HID and do the conversion yourself - some reflectors cutting  involved

or use the Fazer kit from these guys:

You will usually get 1mm or so of movement if you put the bike on centre stand and try lifting the back wheel.  You'll find the same on new bikes in the showroom.  Anything substantially more than that is a problem.

 :agree  Jules-c.
At the last m.o.t. the guy put a long bar under the wheel to test for play and said there was a bit of play, but then said don't worry they are like that from new.

Many 1000 have about 1mm of play, but the 600 doesn't normally have any play. I just checked my own 600 which I changed the bearing and bushes on 22000 miles back, and it has zero play. Any play in the 600 is an indication of wear. However 1mm of play at the wheel in not a lot as the distance from the bearing is over the 500mm exaggerating the play.
