STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner


Just lob a whole bottle in with a full tank of fuel.

The best additive is take them out and give them a clean :lol

Yes...cleaning carbs (or removing them) is not as difficult as it looks...But if u split the carbs, (like I did) u will have to balance them as well as cleaning...probably not a bad idea to do anyway...
I'm making a MONOMETER to do the job...just waiting for a few bits from ebay...can't wait to try it...and see if that finally clears up all carb issues...

More expensive and overrated, especially for carb icing, i used it years ago.
STP all day long, tried and tested several times.

You're right of course, but it's a damn site more difficult than pouring liquid in your tank for the less technical person.


Reason i use STP is because i do a lot of short runs in traffic, so it's ideal to use just once a year to clear any built up deposits.
