Over sized rear sprockets
« on: 12 November 2015, 10:30:04 am »
I'm going to be naked so top speed is going to be limited by my puny arms not being able to hang on much over 100 (KMH) so has anyone fitted a 50 tooth rear and was the difference noticable (not concerned about fuel consumption)

Did it require a non standard chain length?

Anyone gone larger, say 52?
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

There was a forward facing camera I used to set off quite regularly and I always had the urge to strip off everything other than my boots and lid and pass it, would loved to have seen the look on their faces when they got the pics developed  :eek

I have a small fly screen on my FZ6N and dont have to hang on, just lean forward as speed increases, even at 70mph + I can ride with one hand only on the bars , I would "think" at a 100mph + into a head wind you might have to start hanging on a bit, lol.

Main reason for going naked is to slow me down, cant keep riding around at stupid speeds or it'll be prison or a really bad accident

A standard chain length should be okay if you only go up 2 teeth on the back, any more and you'll need a longer one.  :)
