It depends on the age of the bike as there have been changes within the 600 and 1000 models

Guess I asked for that  :lol

I managed to leave out one key word, "caliper". What's the difference between the 1000 rear caliper, and the 600 rear caliper? I've seen a load of people asking for the 1000 ones?

Are you not embarrassed  to be telling us on this ultra reliable Japanese bike site that you went a bought an unreliable Bavarian Tractor.   :eek and to top it all you want to sell the ultra reliable FZ1. :(
You better convince the good lady that you will need the FZ1 everytime the Adventurre will be in the garage being fixed  :rollin :rollin

No not embarrassed in the slitest  :b this is my 2nd fazer and I do love them but got a dodgy leg so it gets a bit sore after a short period so needed a bit more leg room

Can wait to see the reactions at the spring meet when I pull up on the tractor might even get the twat suit and knobber helmet to suit :evil

Know the feeling of dodgy leg.  :'( Take a look at this, shows what the GS is capable of in the right hands. Alan O'Connor at a BMW promotion day in Mondello Park. BMW reps were impressed to say the least  :)

The 600 are more prone to seizing if you don't look after them. The 1000 (IMO) have better bite too. Only needs a slight fileing of the bracket or caliper to fit. It's a blue spot like the front too which looks better.
