Granny Dating
« on: 09 February 2013, 05:40:20 pm »
No - not for me  :rollin

My mother is 67 and been single now for some time. She keeps asking me to help her with dating site x or dating site y. A lot of the ones she suggest seem naff to me. or have a membership fee that's too high.

So, anyone else here got retired relatives and know of any "decent" sites if such a thing exists?

That's the idea, only thing is she won't go out on her own, hence we seem to be stuck with granny dating sites.

Not that I would know of course but a bloke down the pub said "Plenty of Fish" is a good free site for starters.  ;)
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

Two of my friends have used this place - but they are early 20's so can't comment on its usefulness for older generations :P

Both have had success, in fact one has been in a relationship for over 3 years after meeting his partner on Plenty of Fish

I've passed these on to mumsy - see what happens.
She said the over60s one has quite a few people in her area so looks promising so far...

POF is free ? but then you get pop-ups (sorry thats not a pun) for all their other sites, e.g.  X-PRESS, SHAGAHOLICS etc, I went on x-press and my match? was a 65 year very large women, her profile picture was her starkers, t*ts down past her waist a face like a bag of spanners, you get the idea, oh well they say beggers can't be choosers, lol.

How come no one has stated the obvious?  She should get a Fazer thou and join the Fazer thou corner on this site.  There are loads of old men there.  Some even smell of wee and have slippers ;)
