Now that's nice

If you like that you're love this, it replaced the RC30, the RC45 an other homologation bike only 200 ish were made I think. Many changes to the bike one of the main ones being PGM-FI.  This after a bit of a shaky start bike just cleaned up everywhere by 99 it was making 190 odd bhp.

Naw, I’d rather have the R7 and RC30 and some change.  The NR750 hasn’t aged well.  On the hand the 1994 VFR750, whose styling was clearly influenced by the NR750, still looks great today.

I think this was the best looking model VFR750F. Slightly biased, it's my old bike.

Yeah that's when sportsbikes really started to find their way looks wise imo
I love the standard livery, no so keen on the race one though.
This is the era of bike that I grew up dreaming of. The poster on my wall as a kid, along with the fzr1000 and then the early yellow triumph daytonas

Yup, 1988 FJ. Bloody wonderful bike it was but the mrs preferred the BMW pillion so unfortunately it had to go cos I didn't have room for both.

It's nice Vinnyb, but for me it's the 1995 model.  I wanted one at the time, but couldn't find a nice used one, so bought a CBR600F instead.

My own personal taste of a 'future classic' was my very first bike.... the Aprilia RS250.
I got mine in about 2002,  paid €750 for a less than perfect example (I was about the 15 owner, had been crashed at least 3 times, stolen twice and the fairing was rattle canned black with homemade vinyl stickers 🙈🙈) but it was my first love and went like a stabbed rat
Seeing the price they are going for now it seems criminal that I sold it for €500 when I moved back to the uk

My CBR600F

I had one of them for a week when I first passed my test. Was my friends who hadnt passed his test yet so lent it to me from the day I passed until I bought my Thundercat.
Was an alright little bike (with the emphasis being on little.... foccing thing wasnt much bigger than my  125 haha) and seemed rapid coming from the er6 I'd been using for lessons.

I was luckily enough to have ridden some exotic bikes over the years, out of the box this was one of the best with an up to 30k price tag these days.

Very easy to ride very quick  ;)

That was a great looking bike and would have been my next bike back in the day!

When I bought my 1200 Bandit in '96 (my first brand new bike) there was a mint used RC30 in the showroom that was priced at about a grand less than I was paying for the Bandit. If only I'd known then what I know now.

Had an FG ‘86, FV ‘97 and am early 800. Probably preferred the FV out of all of them but FG was also a great bike (sold about 3 years ago)

Hadn't seen one of these for a few years,I thought they were great at the time and still a fabulous bike but I now think the R7 is actually nicer.
never look down on anyone unless you're helping them up.

I'd never even heard of  the road going NR750 in vinnyb's post. Apparently they were £38,000 new in 1992, when a Fireblade was £7,390 :eek .

They go for around £100,000 now it seems, so £90k probably quite reasonable :\
