« on: 16 January 2013, 07:05:40 pm »
Hi All,
I hope some one can help  :o  I have an RD350N1 which has a Fazer 1000 ( square type same as 600)front brake M/C  :eek  i have just fitted a titainium shorty clutch lever (Track Tech) to the N1 but now i cant find a matching brake lever, crossmans advertised one but then only had it in black :'( , i have found a CRG one but the listing is 2001 FZ1, does anyone know if the front brake M/C levers are the same ??
Sorry its a long winded question  :lol :lol
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark
In yanky land they call a fazer 1000 an FZ1 . So if the lever your  looking at is for 2001 to 2005 it should fit fazer 1000 m/c . The later and current model came out in 2006 known in UK as FZ1 naked model and fazer faired model. Confusing I know.
I have tracktech levers on my fazer thou 2005 model . I got them from 'Buster's', I forget how much they cost but you could google it.
Obviously you would have to buy a pair but then you would have a spare clutch lever.
The quality is good for the price, mine have been on five years no issues.
I once owned a RD350 YPVS N1 dream machine painted Kenny Roberts colours, it was Stan Stephens tuned with F2 pipes made by Stan .  It flew!
Hope you find your lever  :)
Cheers Jacko
