My mate is high up in one of the big insurance company's and I was asking him about the costs for youngsters, our mutual mates boy is paying 4k for a 1.2 Clio. His reply was, get kids on scooters at 16, they have 1 years no claims and road experience, buy an old car so less to pay out if binned than a new car, get a 2 seater, if youngster then crashes they have less compensation to pay as only 1 passenger, instead of 4, also look at classics, you don't build up a no claims but your on the road and when you hit 21 hopefully got a better job and can then get what they want and pay for it themselves

I've used big and small over the years I had no trouble with the larger one but the small one blew off when I got a bit excited in Ireland, in the future i will now I chuck a bungee cord or similar over any size one to be sure it don't happen again

I tend to be more front, but a little dab of the back brake to settle the bike just before going into a bend when your lumping along is quite useful , and it would be nice to have a good feel to it.

I tend to like Bridgestone , continentals, and I quite liked the diablos, can't stand dunlops, wasn't a big fan of the metzelers, but can't remember which ones they were, it's on various bikes over the years not only a fazer

Bloody hell I'm doing something wrong, I've tried loads of tyres over the years and I've never got to2000 miles on any of them, I just thought it was cos I was getting soft sticky tyres, and thought there was a touring type of tyre which was hard but wasn't as grippy in the bends.

It's pants cos sponges and sticking, I've stripped it twice and it's fine for a while then the spongeness returns, and was thinking of changing it cos I've just bought braided lines and when I change them was gonna change the calliper .

Hi guys going to do a tour over to Poland this year and its 2500 miles just there and back without any detours or ride outs , I would like a rear tyre to last until I get back home, so any recomendations? If its possible to get that out of a tyre, or will I have to get one over there?
