I do really like Iron Maiden. Have an original signed Vinyl record from the band and have seen them live. One of the few bands that are so much better live than they are in a studio. Far too many newer bands are absolutely useless in a live setting

f*ck! is that what Dave Murray looks like now?? I stopped listening after Number of the Beast.

Saw Maiden in 2011 at the O2 Arena and they are still as good as ever. Looking forward to seeing them at the Download Festival this year. I wish they would go back to calling it 'Monsters of Rock' again though......

I do quite like Iron Maiden - my favourite albums are Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, and Powerslave. Great toonskis! :lol

Saw them at a gig 30 yrs ago, does that count??

All things metal is good and the last sentence rounds it up nice in that report. Seen the Maiden so many times I loose count. First time was on the Beast tour as a kid and I never looked back but must agree a live act second to none.

I went out with a girl who's brother was best mates with the band and grew up with them, he was actually asked to be their manager when he was 18 and his dad said 'don't be daft son, these bands come and go and you've got a good job with BT'
He never regretted that then.
Anyway my then GF used to pick up her brother's laundry once a week and sometimes I'd go with her and sitting in his flat would be most of Iron Maiden.
I was never in to them but I remember telling a couple of mates who nearly wet themselves and kept asking me to get autographs etc but I thought it a bit rude to ask when they 'off duty'.
