Boys in blueooooooer!
« on: 04 May 2012, 08:22:55 pm »
:rollin travelling allong the M4 today behind a Police ford focus, I noticed the large blue plastic cover on the roof lights looked loose. I was just about to try and get the drivers attention when it flew of and hit the road missing m by about 2 feet. I went allongsie ad tried hand signals to explain wt happened. The poor guy driving looked t me like I was a madman and slowed down to let me pass
looks like the cut backs are effecting maintenance!

Should have stopped, picked it up, put it under your arm and then pulled alongside him.

We were in the outside lane and it went towards the central reservation.

Suppose I'll have to come clean.

I was at the police driving school doing my advanced car refresher when i was told, did make me giggle. I was imagining the hand signals i would be making at the driver.  :D

Again it's a small world, just logged onto the fed forum and saw the same user name and a pic of your Fazer, thought it couldn't be another coincidence.

DID get a good pension you mean. All about to go now, along with a fair few coppers I think. Won't be long before the public really notice the lack of police on the streets.

The goverment are scumbags  id like to see john prescott rolling round the floor and arresting people having to work till hes 67 and pay more into his fat cat pension.  They dont care about crime or safety of the public as they are safe in there country mansions with security cameras and gates.  It must be hard for them struggling on their £300 a day commons expenses drinking subsidised beer.    TW8TS......Rant over :lol

yeah keep to speed limits! lol  :rollin

I been caught twice in 2 weeks march/april time! 1st one i was bang to rights cant complain 2nd i was over the limit agreed but honestly thought it was 40 limit, even nice mr PC said i kept to a steady 41 for the 380 meters he clocked me at! I am now educated and my speed is now legal everywhere I go no matter how annoying it is to other road users behind me
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!

In my country, for some reason, coppers don't stop bikes for speeding. They just never bother. However, roads are appaling, drivers very reckless and don't care for bikes, so I guess they already write all bikers off as soon-to-be-dead. I know only one man ONCE stopped for speeding on a motorcyce. OK, they stopped me once, but I was only some 10 km/h over the limit and the cop said: "but... why did you stop? They never stop?!" Let me go then. :)
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
