Many thanks for info, I think its supplied by Ultimateaddons.com Cheers I have had the same idea, and I bought the following adapter (see attached) but I cant remember or find where I bought it from. But found something similar on ultimateaddons.co.uk - I never got around to fitting mine because there isn't a flat enough surface on the inside of the screen on my then FZS1000, or now my FZ1 or GSf1250. That and the mount in the attached images dosent stick out far enough away from the screen to have the phone in a vertical position. But here are 2 issue with that -
- I need a different mount that has a bigger gap from the mount point to the phone
- Polycarbonate can be drilled but has to be done carefully so as not to crack it, you could I think melt holes with a soldering iron and trim away excess around the holes. But I don't know what if any stress's it would set up in the polycarbonate material.
Alternative option would be to modify an existing cockpit mount for another bike to fit the FZS -

Ive a S2 and want to attach/screw a phone/satnav holder to the screen rather than the handle bar. Has anyone got any ideas ?? I'd rather have it more in front of me above the clocks so trying to find a bracket/holder I could adapt. Thanks in advance.

Hi I’m looking to purchase a device for holding my iPhone to use as a satnav, the ones I’ve seen connect to the handle bars but there isn’t a lot of room on the available bar for it to connect to.Be interested what other FZ6 owners have used on their bike ?ThanksKevin

Everything looks exactly as it should as an S2 ie brakes, speedo, passenger foot pegs, etc the ONLY difference I can see is my frame is Silver but it is the correct one as it’s chamfered and not box shape.

Hi I’ve got a 2010 S2 in blue but the frame is silver, everything I’ve read about the FZ6 says the frame was black from 2007 when the S2 was launched.
Anyone else got a S2 with silver frame ?

When removing the stator cover (left side) is there any chance that oil will spill or is it dry? sorry if this is obvious to most but not done it before. Its on a FZ6 S2
Cheers

I find the standard clutch lever quite wide and would prefer if it were a bit closer when not engaged, there is no adjustment like my brake lever to make it closer to your fingers. Hope this makes sense Has anyone changed theirs to a non standard type, if so possible alternatives Thanks in advance
