selling my FZS600
« on: 29 September 2020, 04:47:27 pm »
I'm selling my Fazer due to wanting a bigger bike.

I've put it up on Ebay for £1150. I'll knock another £50 off for a focer :)

I found out subsequently that the bike is Cat D, although that doesnt really bother me. The previous owner says he was unaware, and based on how much he has spent on the bike, im tending to believe him, however I couldnt sell the bike without disclosing it. Unfortunately it means I'll be taking a heavy loss, but think £1150 is fair, what do you think?

PS Mods apologies if this isn't allowed.

Blimey, you didn't keep that one for long!

I'm not sure how much a Cat D makes a difference to the price of a bike of this age, especially as it happened 10+ years ago. Most bikers looking at bikes like this know that cosmetic write-offs are not uncommon and you often end up with a better bike because of it: more work has gone into it and lots of new parts have gone on.

Personally I think you could have asked for more.

I know, probably kick myself for selling it.
