Thank you man, I already ordered everything needed to heal my FZS from the central spare part dealer in the Netherland, no painting needed and so on. Cheaper than I expected.

Hello everybody, I haven't come to see you here on the forum for a long time. Is everything okay? I hope so. Guys, I have a drama in progress, my beautiful 2005 FZS1000 LavaRed has slipped and, as usual in these cases, the windshield has broken, I'm talking about the fairing not the plexiglass. I am looking for the original spare part, do anyone has a shop to report to me (I would like to buy the new original spare part) ? I am also looking for the alternator side casing (the color of the engine is black). Can you help me ? Thank you in advance

Hi Andy, give me a little time to look at shipping company fees, the postage could not be convenient. By tomorrow night I'll give you an answer, also for the price.

As the title says! Dropped my tank while balancing the carbs (Doh!), massive dent and paint has come off.
So on the off-chance that anybody has a blue (deep purplish blue metalic?) fzs600 2002/03 tank in reasonable nick?
Cheers, Andy
Hi Andy, I have a blue one from my former '02 FZS600. The item has a little scratch on the left side. Think 150 euro is a right price (plus shipping). Look at the attached jpg. Please, let me know if interested. Mauro

Hi Heather, welcome from another new member of this forum. I assume that you're referring to an used bike becouse it isn't still sold. First of all, he doesn't have to change his old GS500, he can keep it and add a "new" 2nd hand Fazer600. If he's fascinated by a bit 'old models, the former Fazer 600, the FZS600, IMHO is better than newer. The way in which the power is supplied by her engine and the fuel consumption is better than the Fazer/FZ6 model... The suspensions are better, the brakes are better (except in the "S2" model, where are just the same). Moreover, the price is very interesting, in Italy you can take a 2003 good condition FZS600 for around 2000 euros, I think in UK the same. What do you have to check in a 2nd hand bike ? Look for scratches (symptom of a slip), brake discs without jagged wear (too many kilometers), transission chain and related cogwheels, the front fork legs, the brake lever and the clutch lever which must not be bent, irregularities of the engine noise, no smoke at the exhaust. And of course the tyres. Here she is: Let us know how it turned out. Best wishes for a good buy

Some more shots and then I'll stop posting: Following my beloved Sardinya, David Herbert Lawrence (a British writer, 1885-1930) wrote: "…Usually, the lifelevel is reckoned as sea-level. But here, in the heart of Sardinia, the life-level is high as the golden-lit plateau, and the sea-level is somewhere far away, below, in the gloom, it does not signify. The life-level is high up, high and sun-sweetened and among rocks. We stood and looked below, at the puff of steam, far down the wooded valley where we had come yesterday. There was an old, low house on this eagleperching piazza. I would like to live there." "...Sardinia is another thing: larger, more usual, not at all irregular, but that fades away in the distance. Ridges of hills as heath, irrelevant, you are losing, perhaps, to a group of peaks ... enchanting space around and distance to travel, nothing finished, nothing definitive. it is like freedom itself. Do all presentation threads last so much here? I should take in serious consideration adding paid advertising on my post, don't you ?

Don't be sad for the years that flow ! To stop them, unfortunately, there is only one alternative, and no one likes it...My previous bike was a FZS600 and the day i went to take her home i said to my wife "well, don't worry, that will be the last of my life...". I was 38 y.o. at that time. Before, i had a GSX600, a GSX400FWS Suzuki, a Honda CBX125 and some fiftys. Now i'm 48 and i ride a stunning FZS1000, bought after two ribs broken in a crash with the little FZS600. In my motoclub there are many seniors. The oldest is 73, and does ride curves like a 23 yo guy. Believe me, not a good idea dispose or sell your bike. Suddenly after, you would buy another.

Not sure if Bender or Farnsworth is my favorite character
Da cartoon is a fucking allegory of true reality, many of those attitudes are retrievable in humans...

I am Bender
And for those not in the know,,,,,
Don't understand that gag, isn't the girder a sort of timber ? What's the meaning of da sentence ?
By the way, Bender literally: "...often exhibits sociopathic behavior, is a pathological liar and rarely shows any empathy (His most famous catchphrase to any bothersome person is: "Bite my shiny metal ass!"). He has a mostly voluntary morality and constantly steals, ranging from the petty theft of wallets to crimes such as kidnapping Jay Leno's head and stealing Fry's blood. He also once stole Amy's earrings while giving her a hug. It was shown in "Roswell That Ends Well" that even in a disassembled state, his individual limbs carry on attempting to steal anything in proximity; the hand on his dismembered arm steals a wallet out of a scientist's pocket before becoming inactive again...".So he has many "merits", but he is not "a bender"...
