I'm wanting to put a fazer thou rear caliper (blue spot) on a fzs600, I've got one on the way to me from the states, the question is do I need to get a fazer thou torque arm and whats required to mount it and the caliper? Apologies as I know this has been discussed a million times before but I've just spent a good half hour looking though this forum for a guide!

there's a quick guide on how to fit it here.
The thou torque arm is too long for the 600, you need to purchase an arm off a thunderace, which fits perfectly.

My fazer 1000 caliper fitted onto the fzs600 bracket
I needed to take a couple of mm off with a dremel and that was it
Quick and simple mod to do

Why do you need to change the torque arm?
I've just kept the fzs600 one

Do you need to change the torque arm? Admittedly it looks a lot better than the original, but length wise is there any difference or could I get away with the original torque arm?
Many thanks for the link, you did a great step by step guide, looks relatively straight forward!

I changed mine just for the looks, you don't need to change it.

Cool! I might do it myself when I get a bit of funds together, thanks again man!
