Hi All
Very close to getting my (new to me) yr 2000 Fazer FZS600S!! Yippee! So far I have new tyres for it (BT-023), sprayed the rear wheel and ti bolts for the rear rotor. :-)
The only thing is it does not have a rear hugger. In our lovely climate I think this is essential and therefore I am on the hunt for one. A popuar auction site has a 2002-3 rear hugger for good money on it but I know there are differences between the mounting points between this and my model. The question is can I mod the 2002/3 one to fit my version? Has anyone done this?
Cheers in advance!

as far as im aware its on the chain guard side that the mounting holes for the guard are in a different place not by much though so i would think it wouldnt take much to make it fit

Dunno if this helps. Fazer FZS 600 2002-2003 model.
If chain guard looks a bit odd/different its because it was a 'Powerbronze Carbon Look Hugger' that I did not like after it had been fitted fir about 2 years, so I cut it down and made a chain guard out of it. the fixings screws are exactly the same as the original Yamaha FZS chain guard on the 2002 2003 model.
All measurement are taken from the frame tube as indicated.

Thanks for the info!!
Just to say I've gone ahead and ordered the hugger and will report back on the differences and any modifications required to fit it!
