Flashing ABS light
« on: 05 July 2015, 12:41:39 pm »
When I was riding yesterday the ABS light started flashing at me.
I pulled over turned it off and back on again and it was ok for a while but then it started again and reset again.
I was not riding stupid, when it happened, or doing really heavy breaking and the ABS did function with the light flashing, I tried to lock up the rear and I could feel it pulsing.

The flash was on for about a second and then off for about a second as well if this helps.
I have checked the manuals, service and owners, and there is nothing I can see.
I have also checked t'Internet and there is nothing really about my issue.

Worth a read:

Thanks for that.
With other trolling I have a list of items to check
ABS sensors
brake pedal switchs
fluid levels
Bearings and axles
I might have to check my new lights and flashers also.

I found the problem after not too much searching.
Brake light had blown so there was low load on the circuit which set the warning light off.
