Hi Foccers I fitted TWO sets of cheap Chinese spotlights to my FZS600... a silver set on the rad ends are in the dipped position...a big help. The black ones on the fairing are connected to the main beam...AMAZING...!

Aside from the lean angle, the distance from hero blob to road surface is affected by the load and suspension settings. If you’re light then you may run out of tyre before the blobs touch down as you won’t be compressing the suspension as much as a heavy rider does.
Best yet - please don't wear Doc's , your feet are worth more than than that.
On the FZS600, a quick cheap upgrade is to do the headlight mod on the right hand (high beam) lamp so that low beam works too. To improve that further, fit an LED H4 on that side too. Of you are worried about MOT time, fit a fuse inline with the new wire you fit as part of the mod mentioned above and just pull the fuse at MOT time. MOT testers do not care if the high beam is LED, HID or some other type of glowstick as long as it comes on and the idiot light works.
Well I picked up some gortex gloves today, went with the "Richa Cold Protect Gortex"! Seem very warm, have plenty of armour and are highly rated in reviews so will hopefully fair well. RRP is £100 but managed to pick them up along with a pair of RST Tractech Evo R race gloves for a bartered down price of £150, so savings of around £40 across both pairs... so happy with that Also picked up the Richa Typhoon Rain suit as it was the one I had seen best reviewed and they were flogging them for £40, so figured it's worth a punt at that price 👌
Oxford thermal socks are good + a pair of normal sports socks over the top (Puma etc from Sports Direct work well). Merino wool socks are great ...........if you can still wear them when you get to work. I just remove the sports socks.
