Leathers
« on: 30 September 2012, 04:20:27 pm »
Turns out the leathers I've bought are too small so I'm after a 2-piece set and need a bit of advice,

Does anyone know a shop where I can pick up some cheap?
What brands accommodate legs larger than Mick Jagger's?

It was cutting off circulation to my legs and I started cramping up after less than an hour so it'd probably need more than just a little alteration. It's second hand off ebay so would probably cost more to alter than I paid for it and it's pretty tatty anyway.

I love my furygan 2 piece leathers, im pretty big legged,

Unlike the judderman who is spindly of leg :b

They got a good bit o flex round the crotch with some kind of breathable mesh, gives u chilly knackers sometimes though!
What a difference half a stone makes though, suddenly i can hardly squeeze into them so its great motivation to stay healthy.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

worth asking pete at speedsport how much to alter tho rob, there is also unique leathers off holderness rd im told but never used them,my crotch area on my 1 piece cost me £15 and was fantastic job made massiv difference, keep your eye out in the winter months for leathers as prices get dirt cheap,i got my suit for £20 off ebay inc post in the winter months so didnt mind the alteration fee!

I have the Scott Venon two-piece trousers and jacket.  British, well made, reasonably priced and if they are good enough for the Police they'll do nicely for me.   :)
