I had  a spare thou seat converted into a single seat + hump by a chap in Penzance.£80  this mod is great in that I can rest my arse against something when I wind it up. The chap in question measured me and my position on the bike. In the case of this mod it was essential to get  the hump position just right so I am glad that I went to a local (to me ) company. Depends on what type of seat you want as there are lots of different types, but if you are a short arse extra material could be an issue

I'm interested in getting this done as well since my seat is far from comfortable at current. But it just costs more than I can afford to be honest

£80 is pretty reasonable but I don't live near Penzance :P

i want to get my seat replaced on my gen 1 600. if anyone has a spare scruffy one, i'll take it off you. i want to make mine thicker and higher. better for touring.

Ok, Penzance is somewhat the exception :P

I shall restate it as no recommended businesses (so far) are anywhere near me :P But to be honest, I haven't looked incredibly hard at my local area... not really sure where to start
