Weather cold, cloudy but dry. Anybody actually definitely going?!

I can't make it tomorrow, heading up north to do some work on the bike. Headlight mod and bleeding front brakes (yes, it's that time of the month).
Speaking of the Ace Cafe, I wanted to see if anyone saw the BBC4 documentary "Glory Day of British Motorcycling?" Featured the Ace and that story about putting on a record and seeing if you could hammer it to the gyratory and back before it ended :-)

So torn as to whether I go or not... on the one hand its always good to meet up with everyone... on the other, its feckin freezing, I don't own thermals and its pretty far... Such. A. Hard. Decision.

Honestly, an all year biker who doesn't own adequate winter clothing - lots of cheap thermals out there to choose from. Use a lightweight windproof top under your bike jacket, makes all the difference, warm top under that, sorted :)

Next summer, 2 or 3 weeks. Definitely Alps. Maybe Pyrenees. Between June and September.
Possibly ride down to Andorra, spend a few days there, then thinking about Bolzano or similar for 2nd base. No decisions made yet, will depend on funds available. Will resurrect "Touring Europe" thread early next year. :)
