Thats a nice looking bike-looks like my Gen 1 FZS 1000s baby brother. Havent ridden for a week or so but got the red beast out today-charged the battery, quick wash & shine-may get a ride in tomorrow then its off to NEC Sunday to drool over the new stuff!-Still love these Fazers best though. Hope you have as many happy miles as Ive had! Good luck :D

well I have been out this morning for a quick ride to check for bangs squeaks and rattles, none found as yet, all is good.

I dont know exactly what I was expecting from the 600 but it was not what I got the change of direction was amazing in comparison to the bikes I wave had, BMW, FJ1200 and the power delivery is brill as i don't like to thrash my engine, and there is plenty of low down grunt. The seat is comfy as is the riding position, But for me the best thing is the handling and the confidence it give you to go into corners with conviction.

and there seems to be very little wind noise in comparison the the FJ1200 and my XR1000 shoei

Over all me thinks I will be keeping this bike for a long time :)

That looks like a burgundy 1999 model? Very nice, had one myself.

Only sh1t thing is that Yam only made that colour scheme for 1 year, so don't damage the panels or tank.... matching replacements rarely come up on ebay
