Title: this years weather ?
Post by: red98 on 24 January 2016, 10:12:39 am: So......what can we expect weather wise this year ?.......took the last week of july and the first of august last year as holiday hoping to get upto scotland on the bike.....ended up with 3/4 days out bimbling around the south coast, weather was showery the whole 2 weeks , if its bad down south it was only going to be worse north of the border.....

any weather experts on here or have you seen any forcasts ?

I don't know about summer but from previous years when the east coast of the US
gets it bad i.e. now, we can expect snow in the British Isles once it crosses the Atlantic.

Both times the weather down here was awful, got to Scotland and it was sunny and dry. As I'm normally an unlucky bugger and have a reputation for making it rain every time I get the bike out, maybe I should have bought a lottery ticket both times.

Mind you, my exhaust fell off in Keswick so not that lucky.
