Just wondered.... Read a thread a while back about tax discs being abolished.... Are we still getting them as i applied for mine online and paid with the renewal number on the reminder 4 weeks ago but havn't recieved it yet.
Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup....  :-))

If i remember correctly its October they are doing away with the disc!

Yes, you should still receive one up till October.

Got mine last Friday, applied for on the previous Tuesday, there's no way it would take that long unless lost or stolen.

yeah I applied on 5th June & recieved on 9th so that was over a weekend!
 
there is a bit on the website that says what do do if not recieved!
(i'd check money has gone from your account,, if it has then fair to say your legal)...
 
as an aside I have photocopied mine & display that with a note round the edge saying "Rider has original" which I have sealed & taped under my seat!! lol

Keep mine in a holder under the seat, have done for a few years now. I know legally it should be displayed but in the modern age they can check anyway.

I never bin anything.. a quick look in my garage will confirm this. I found my topbox the other day, not the one I use now but the one I had on my superdream in 1982, it still full of other stuff.
