Title: My Fazer has been written off.
Post by: john roche on 16 January 2016, 10:10:53 am
We were knocked off back in October. I've finally heard from the engineers, it's been written off and they've offered a fair price for it. I've still got my VFR so I'll wait & see how much compensation I get for my injuries before deciding what to buy next.

I may be Fazerless but I'll still pop in from time to time as this is such a fun group.

Ride safe all.

Cheers

Worth buying back as scrap, either to repair or sell on? Might be able to pick up a few extra hundred quid by just sticking it on eBay depending on how bad its damaged and what they'd charge you to keep it?

VFR and Fazer, 2 great bikes.
I had a 750FT which I sold to buy a new Fazer in 2002. Kept the Fazer for 6 years before swapping to a Pan Euro, then several others before getting another minter than mint 750 but came across a bloke that was interested in the 750 and had a Fazer so we did a swap.
Three years on and I'm still more than happy to be on the Fazer.
