K&N air filter
« on: 23 February 2014, 03:25:20 pm »
Noticed that the K&N air filter isn't as tall as the Yamaha one - about 5mm shorter and only has a gasket for the top lip . The Yamaha one has a gasket top and bottom. is this correct .

Not without rejetting.  It can lean out the fuelling a bit at certain throttle settings, too, which isn't ideal but won't cause any damage.
