Yes Bemsee meeting, test day ,no security I guess.
Two years ago at Donnington we were all there, some I garages some o tarmac in their own setups, someone jumped on a Ducati Ardmore past security, would not stop, no helmet, uptheroad and onto M1 , never to be seen again.
So we are all aware, eyes out, lock bikes,,

Last night as racers were turning up ,setting up in outer paddock some useless twat hooked up a trailer and nicked it and the two bikes on it, R1 and Fireblade, poor bloke is gutted.

Hah ,I've a 57 plate in the shed, bike works perfect,just the frame cracked, Theres a replacement frame with it, just got to swap them,i guess i will, find time one day..

Our race club holds its first race meeting of the year 16th 17th March, it's not too expensive to get in, come and have a look.
Blue R1 number 30 in one of the garages, total access to all areas, pit lane, garages, you can get to see it all.
We are testing on Friday,free entry I think.
Some very fastriders ,loads of classes, 125s , two strokes, old classics. And all the modern stuff too.

We had a brilliant leader for this BREXIT, the one and only Margaret Thatcher, she would of sorted the remoaners out,

Cheers boys, it's been fun. I have now sourced a replacement frame so when all my maintenance on the race bike is done I will change the frame of the Fazer and put it back on the road,,it's sat in road trim now,, I may sell the blade and keep the Gen 2 fazer as I kind of am stretched to it now.

This is coombe, bike behind me rsv4 aprilla , he stuck to me all races ,never got by,,he is an instructor at this track,,I hope I didn't disappoint him

Oulton park was the last race,, I entered the open too as we only had one race, wet track qualified 20th in the open then not long after was our qualifying and I got onto the front row, 3rd, from about 30 bikes,,later on the open race I fucking dropped it on the warm up lap, broke my handle bar off, foot peg, shifter.. We got it ready in amazing time thanks to mates and missed the warm up lap for my race so they put me at the back of grid,,I started 28th and finished 15th, 5th in class,,a good day I suppose, not hurt, lol I finished 3rd in our streetstock class overall, 8 trophys, very very happy and continually surprised how life throws these opportunities my way , I shocked myself, my friendsthink I am crazy,well,,,,,,maybe

Then on to Castle coombe, new track to me a real fast track,tight chicane 150mph main straight,the rear wheel slides at over a 100 coming onto main straight, great feeling.

So out with the internet and buy the cheapest 2004 R1 so that all my wheels, engine protectors fit and found a little beauty, a bit of work to get fairings to fit, replace broken engine mounting bolt,,I had bought some R1 upgraded forks for 5he Fazer so they went straight on,the bikehad a £1,000 rear ohlins shock, nice, a £200 ohlins steering damper and a £400 GPS lap timer.
At Pembrey first time I had clutch slipping problems so I have learnt how to change the clutch, new plates in.
All this for £3200
