Title: Blue Fazer/Silver Wheels
Post by: kevinmcglynn on 11 November 2013, 09:16:38 pm
I have a blue 2003 FZS600 (foxeye model), with the standard black wheels. But these are a bit chipped and scratched, so I was planning on repainting them now over the winter. I am considering changing them to silver, just a subtle change to make it a bit different to all the rest. Does anyone have a picture of a blue FZS600 with silver wheels (or is anyone a bit handy with photoshop) just so I get an idea what it might look like before I take the plunge?

Also a company near me does powder coating, would it be better to get the wheels powder coated rather than painted? (Regardless of the colour I decide on)

If you post a pic of your fazer in here, I'll have a bash at making the wheels silver tonight when I get in from uni.

Just get a silver paint pen and paint the wheels on your computer or phone screen.
I'm one step ahead of you boys....... :lol

This was the colour scheme of my old R1 streetfighter before I colour coded the wheels blue. Looks pretty good if you ask me!

Looks ok but they might take some keeping clean.  When my black ones get black they are still err..black.

I'm not a fan of "fluorescent", Clive. Seriously? Just the same yellow as the other paint imo. Or yellow wheel stripes I think would look good on black (again, matching the paint). But what the heck, it's all personal taste isn't it? What do I know..... :\  FFS, some people actually like red!!  :rollin
