I'd respray it myself. Set up a paint booth in your garage, get some cheap plastic dust sheets and tape them to ceiling/floor, and set up a 'spray booth'.Lots and lots of fine layers is key, as well as plenty of time on prep, also remember the panels are away from each other so a slight change in colour (sun fading from your older panels) wont be as noticeable than say on your car if you were respraying a wing.Worst case and you make a mess, let it dry properly and sand your mistakes away!!Oh and yes i agree with simonm, the silver doesnt work with the rest of the bike.

(I'm guessing sand blasting would destroy it )You'd do prime, base coat, top coat then lacquer ?Where would you get the paint from ? (Aerosol ?)I'm curious now..
