FZ10A closing down
« on: 03 October 2023, 09:41:26 am »

Just popped in to look at the American site and saw this

http://www.fz1oa.com/forum/forum/fz1-fazer-owners-association/fz1oa-announcements-news/4505172-time

Looks like the site could close next year.

That’s a shame but totally understandable. I think facebook is responsible for the demise for many forums, which I suppose is just a reflection of modern times. Even this forum is far less active than when I joined only 7 years ago, but possibly folk have just moved on to a newer model of bike.

Depends if people keep using it or not. At the moment the fees are paid and will continue to be paid so the forum can continue.

There is that and there is also a change in the style of moderation that happened a couple of years ago that may of also contributed to the demise of the number of posters.

Could it also be that it's far less active due to the age of the bikes and pretty much everything has been covered in one way or another?
So you can do a search and browse the forum for mechanical issues over many years and someone would've already asked the question, with hopefully a resolution to read as well?
