A bit of luck
« on: 09 July 2015, 05:59:36 pm »
I had a bit of luck on my ride to work this afternoon, some poor sod dropped some ladders off his van and everyone stopped to allow him to retrieve them. I filtered to the front and once the traffic started moving again I released the full potential of the mighty Fazer 1000 on an empty motorway,  it was 2 miles before I caught up with the tail end of cars. I got to work 10 minutes early.  Big smiles.

 I love it when a plan comes together . . ,

I was doing some decorating, so I got out my step-ladder. I don't get on with my real ladder

did you max out in top gear, sh1t yourself or run out of road?

Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

"....some poor sod dropped some ladders off his van..."
Translation:
... some incompetent focwit, driving with an unsecured load because he thought saving 3 minutes was worth putting everyone else's lives at risk, dropped some ladders off his van...

I hit the limiter in 3rd 4th and 5th but didn't manage 6th as the backs of the cars were approaching rapidly.  I have managed to get flat out on mine before though.
