I test rode the 1000SX and thought "Oh, it's a Gen 1|. It's identical in performance, but it's green. Good bike though. Still when the old girl finally coughs a valve up, I'll have an alternative.

Oh hang on, I just bought a ZZR1400... which gives you rather more than a straight swap.

Comparing the dyno graphs on Ivan's site is really interesting, Mike. They're very similar and there's not a lot to show for a decade of engine development. And what would you say the cost would be to full monty it, Akra, PC V, etc - 2 grand plus?

It is scary how much emissions regs have cost us...

The easiest way from an iPad/iPad mini is probably through tapatalk mate. Very straightforward through that app.

Gorgeous! Blue has always been the best colour for a gen I. Nice set of graphics on the nose cone btw.
