Post by: mr wayneker on 30 July 2015, 06:50:57 pm
ive found the brake lines on my girl to be a bit spongy
so I have managed to get a brand new front and back HEL brake lines set any colour £60

Think they're all pretty much the same thing to be honest, braided are always better than originals though.

I was going to go with goodridge....but then remembered that I taught a forklift course for a company called hel performance
last year...so emailed the boss as an enquiry  ;) and he said come down tomorrow and he will have the guys make up
what ever I wanted for half price and any colour combo I want..so that sold me really

but like you say darrsi a braided line is a braided line I guss

think I shall go for red and black combo :b

I've got the HEL lines front and back and they're great.

If you buy direct from HEL There is a discount if you say you're a member on here too.  8)

I fitted Hel's a few months ago. very happy with them!!! a good fit and top quality.
give them a ring and say you are a forum member and they will give you a discount code to enter when you order online, I think the code gave 20 or 25% off so well worth making the call.

the last pick includes the little add on I asked for(black piping )

what a pig to tighten up the bolts where the two front join..had to take the
bracket off and put a spanner on one end and then I could torque it up with the
help of my son..

Nice job there fella - liking the red buuuuuuut, the yellow HEL sleeve really needs to be down by the caliper to look  proper job. If you're going to do a job and all that.....c'mon  :lol
