Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Yes and no.

It just pumps air into the downpipes when you close the throttle in order to burn off any partially combusted fuel, it's an emissions thing.  So it has no effect on the engine whatsoever.

Take it off, extra weight and harder to get to the spark plugs, no difference in performance whatsoever just a few more dead badgers rolling out of the hedgerows behind you from the emissions.
Badgers are bastards anyway and taste better with a bit more hydrocarbon content, foc em! It's good to annoy brian may the fuzzy haired git.

Save the planet...It's the only one with beer!

I used the Holeshot kit, had to order it from the states (www.holeshot.com) because I didn't get on with tapping out the ports as per Ivan's kit.

You need a good quality tapered  tap and cutting oil , I used a small adjustable spanner to hold the tap .

As a heads-up you'll need to get some of this stuff as it's not included with the kit but is required as per the fitting instructions - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Copper-Temperature-Silicone-Gasket-Sensor/dp/B00I20AKGO/

i got rid of the AIS system about three years ago,I used the holeshot kit from the states. It cost about 45 quid.Very easy to fit.I think someone on this site was selling the caps, not sure though. What i do know is after fitting, it makes changing the plugs easier. :)

I used a brake adjuster spanner as that was easier to get into the tighter spaces, and it was a perfect fit, but it will depend on the supplier of the tap.
